I actually went to college in Alabama and heard y’all all the time. I never adopted it, but I thought it was hilarious when people told me I was the one with an accent. Not this Cali girl! LOL.
Oh, I have been to Alabama years ago….there is definitely a “southern belle” accent there! Mine is “hillbilly”!
