One of my number one pet peeves is when God is blamed for something the devil does! Why is that? It is as if when something horrible happens people will either say God did it for some so-called good reason or they will get mad at God and blame Him! The FIRST and foremost thing I want you to remember is this scripture:
John 10:10
Amplified Bible (AMP)
10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows).
Jesus is talking here. He explains the DEVIL comes to steal, KILL, and destroy! Those are his works, NOT God’s! Jesus said, “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows).
The Word also tells us WE have been given the power, yes POWER, to use the name of Jesus and it invokes the very authority Jesus carries! When Jesus and his disciples went to Nazareth the Bible says JESUS could do NO miracles there except to heal! How odd, that everywhere He went miracles, signs and wonders followed Him. People would scream out His name just to be healed, delivered, made whole. Why is it when He entered His own hometown, He could not do what HE WANTED to do for people? Because they didn’t believe! Their unbelief kept them in their states of bondage!! Did Jesus want to do signs, wonders and miracles? YES! He would not have gone there had He not! He never wasted time! Too many needed Him and the power He carried to deliver them! God told Him to go and He did, yet it was all but a fruitless visit.
Let us get our eyes on the people who didn’t receive for a bit. Why couldn’t they receive? Let us look!
57 And they took offense at Him [they were repelled and hindered from acknowledging His authority, and caused to stumble]. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.
58 And He did not do many works of power there, because of their unbelief (their lack of faith [v]in the divine mission of Jesus).
We see from our passage Jesus had a mission! What was it? To meet their every need! What stopped Him from doing so? THEIR UNBELIEF!! See it isn’t that Jesus isn’t willing to do it. Many times people are offended with people at church, the process of church itself, the pastor, Jesus, and the Bible basically making receiving what they need impossible! People go to court just so the name of Jesus can’t be spoken publicly! Why? Because satan knows the power that name has over and against him!
I hear people say this all the time, “Well, why does Jesus let these things happen?? He is all-powerful! Why doesn’t He stop it?” Because WE have been given those keys of authority and the power and permission to use His name! It is OUR responsibility to stop it! We are to be speaking the Word of God and expecting and believing it to come to pass! It is OUR responsibility to know what the Bible says so that our lives are not cut short due to a lack of knowledge! It is up to us to pray believing and then praising God for those things that are not until we see they are! It is our responsibility to obey God’s Word whether we want to or not! It is our responsibility to never give up on God and we will reap if we faint not….in other words don’t EVER give up!! That is the worst thing you can do!!
We have too many quitters! Too many turning to phun shway, transcendental meditation, yoga that is not the “exercise” kind, and other satanic means of help when it is nothing but a trap!! We must be very careful to keep our eyes and focus on what is good and right and not buy into the things of this world, and I am talking to you as well “Twilight” goers and readers!! What has the light to do with the dark. COME OUT AND BE YE SEPERATE FROM THEM!! You are opening the door to the devil when you play with his antics!! So, please, don’t look at God and say, “Where have you been??” The answer is He was there all the time, but our choices bring us to where we are most of the time!
I am like Ken Copeland when it comes to a lot of these movies with vampires, and that silliness! Anything that breeds fear, is like pornography to the Christian. Get away from it! I don’t care if it is a so-called “minister” inviting you to read these books that play and dabble and cause satanic associated things to look luxurious! All sin looks fun and dazzling! If you could see it for the horror it is going to bring you to, you would never touch it and satan knows it! Why do you think he comes trying to appear innocent??
You can get mad at me if you want to, but I do not care. You aren’t the one I have to answer to and you aren’t the one that can cast me into hell! God is! I will do His will!! I am not here to win a popularity contest with anyone! I am here to do the will of God! There will be people who will miss heaven! They will be thrown into a lake of fire! NOBODY wants to see them go there! When they scream, “Why didn’t you tell me??” I want to be able to say, “I did! I did not let fear of man stop me! You had the choice to make and you made it!” Oh how utterly needless and sad! God will never violate your free will! That He left untouched because He wanted you to love Him of your own free will and accord!
Today, precious reader, stay with God and continue to believe Him and His promises! He didn’t do anything to hurt you or the ones you love! He loves you and them, too! He loves more than you are capable of loving yourself. Immerse yourself in God and His Word as much as you have immersed yourself in useless things and watch God transform you and your circumstances! He will put into you a new spirit and a new mind! He says He makes ALL things NEW in you! Receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, today! Don’t put it off! Go back, go back, go back!! Get on the right path and let God lead you into joy, peace, and prosperity! Let Him navigate you away from all that will destroy you and those you love!
God’s way is the RIGHT way! Stay with Him! He surely will never forsake you! Change future to destiny! Make Jesus Lord of your life and may God’s richest blessings be upon every area of your life!! See you soon!
