I am a published contributor to a number of other blogs and a published author.  My first book “A Joyful Life Made Simple”  is  out and ready for purchase.  You will  find it on barnesandnoble.com, amazon.com.!  It is a paperback, e-book.

Thank you all who visit and read my blogs.  I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.  They are all written with much prayer and listening to what I feel God is telling me!

I began blogging after my mother’s open heart surgery to repair a heart valve and to stop atrial fiberlation.  I didn’t have enough room to post everything on Facebook so I researched “How to blog” and, voila’ here I am.  I am so thankful to God that my mother pulled through and feels better than I have seen her feel in many years!  One night as I thought about this I just felt compelled to write it down.  The next thing I knew I was blogging daily!

I live in Texas and I am a retired school teacher.   I have a wonderful husband, and  two grown children.  My son  graduated from RHEMA BIBLE INSTITUTE in Broken Arrow, OK with his degree in Pastoral Ministry and my daughter graduated from Texas A&M in December of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences (cum laude).  I have a Chihuahua named Gracie who I love as though she were a human child!  She is one of my greatest blessings!  I write a great deal about her!

I love to encourage people!!  I love to see people happy and to make them laugh.  My husband calls me Lucy Ricardo!  I have to admit I am rather clumsy and the funniest things happen to me!  Keep reading and you’ll see what I mean.   My daughter said nobody would believe it, but she can swear to it that every “experience” is true; They have been her life!

I am truly appreciative of all who read my blog!  I know in this busy life your time is truly precious!   I wish you every blessing, dear reader!

  8. I do that nail art stuff really good. On the fourth of July, I painted my daughter’s nails red. After it dried, I took those nail art nail polish bottles with the skinny tip..and I painted a thin diagonal stripe of white, silver and blue…the silver in the middle between the red and white..it looked so beautiful!

  9. Yep..same way with rings, necklaces, earrings…all of it! You should move in with me! LOL! We’d be like, “Do I match? Are you sure? How about these shoes?” And we’d fight over makeup! ha ha ha ha!

    • That is hysterical! But, it would be fun!! LOL! I would have to keep losing weight if we borrowed clothes! And grow some, too! LOL!

  10. I was only teasing! Of course, I am the type of person who has to have shoes, makeup, nail polish (when I have my nails nice and long….which I don’t right now)….everything….matching! I have a different pair of flip flops for every outfit! that’s sad, isn’t it?

    • I am the same way! I have to have rings, bracelets, and earrings to match it all, too! LOL! Those are Gracie’s new jammies! Is that not too cute??? Lol!

God gives me everything I write…I always say, I am simply taking dictation! :) If it wasn’t for Him I really couldn’t eek out a paragragh….I know this from earlier experiences…I love it that way, though…He teaches me as I go! :)

These are reminders too for you sister Juliana: 1, that you’re used by God because He chose you, and you were willing, and 2, the living water of the Holy Ghost flows over your soul every day, and takes control of every situation that has troubled your mind….all of your cares and burdens onto God you can roll!

    • Reminders to ALL OF US who serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s… when we really take time to ponder the thought…. WE are children of the King! A greater King than has ever stepped foot on this earth…we are members of the most royal family there ever has been or will ever be! When we ponder this and accept it as reality…children of the KING of Kings….soak it in and let it ‘wow’ you completely! When we think of all of the famous people, presidents, leaders, who have ever lived and realize God is even greater than any of those…and we talk to Him whenever we desire! He talks to us and wants to talk to us! My goodness…the creator of everything that ever was, is, and will ever be wants to talk to me? Little ol’ me? That blows me away!

  17. And this one brings tears to my eyes. I used to hear it almost every morning at the breakfast table before school… in fact, I think I saw this very same one on television at the time. I would go to school and face all of the kids who were so mean to me as this song would play in my head over and over again. You can up the quality on it when it starts playing so it sounds/looks better.

  19. Oh Juliana..this song was special to me as a little girl and I just found it the other day. I used to sing it to the Lord and lift my hands to heaven! I was only, I don’t know, maybe 8-9 years old? It is very ’80′s sounding..but it was a top Christian Contemporary hit at the time!

  32. I don’t know..you might want to try one of the textures or colors that’s softer..this one is a little bit too bright…not so easy on the eyes..distracts from the beautiful material you write :-) Try one of the softer ones I sent and see.

Hi Juliana, we have another Award for you, this one like The Friendship Flower Blessing has no rules and also comes from our hearts to yours as our dear Sister in The Lord, it’s called The King of Kings Friendship Award, but it is more like a blessing and some call it that or a gift, you can accept it as you feel in your heart or not, it is to affirm we are one, we are family.

    We do have other Awards I would like to share with you later which have rules but please never feel pressured, if you accept them just Post them when you feel lead to. There is also another few without rules but I will wait for the right time.

I always tell people it is God that writes it, I simply take dictation! :) I have already visited yours and I am amazed how the Holy Spirit speaks the same thing no matter how near or far away from our brothers and sisters we are! Thank you for following! I know I will be truly blessed by your writing, as I already have been!
