Laughter Does A Body Good…Bird Legs

bird legs
Joe, a college student, was taking a course in ornithology, the study of birds. The night before the biggest test of the semester, Joe spent all night studying. He had the textbook nearly memorized. He knew his class notes backward and forward. Joe was ready. The morning of the test, Joe entered the auditorium and took a seat in the front row. On the table in the front was a row of ten stuffed birds. Each bird had a sack covering its body, and only the legs were showing. When class started, the professor announced that the students were to identify each bird by looking at its legs and give its common name, species, habitat, mating habits, etc. Joe looked at each of the birds’ legs. They all looked the same to him. He started to get angry. He had stayed up all night studying for this test and now he had to identify birds by their LEGS? The more he thought about the situation, the angrier he got. Finally he reached his boiling point. He stood up, marched up to the professor’s desk, crumpled up his exam paper and threw it on the desk. “What a ridiculous test!” he told the prof. “How could anyone tell the difference between these birds by looking at their legs? This exam is the biggest rip-off I’ve ever seen!” With that, Joe turned and stormed toward the exit. The professor was a bit shocked, and it took him a moment to regain his composure. Then, just as Joe was about to walk out the door, the prof shouted out, “Wait a minute, young man, what’s your name?” Joe turned around, pulled up his pant legs and hollered, “You tell me, prof! You tell me!”

URGENT: As America Has Done to Israel

Kerry in Israel at same time threat of nuclear war with NK!

Secretary of State Kerry announced he is going to Israel Saturday to restart the “peace process” and the possibility of war with North Korea exploded the same day! It is now very clear that God has raised up North Korea to judge America. America will not stop the homosexual agenda and interfering with His prophetic plan for Israel, so God is now going to stop America. It appears that He will use war to stop the US.

America cannot fight for long as it will destroy the economy. The nation is bankrupt and will print money to pay for it. This will cause massive inflation and destroy the economy.

If North Korea has nuclear weapons, it will use them against America and our army in Asia. There is NO doubt about this. The loss of our military can be staggering. If NK can reach the mainland, they will nuke our cities.

If you follow this blog, you have seen my posts linking “homosexual marriage” and dividing Jerusalem to the NK’s nuclear weapons and missiles. It seems to be coming to a climax right now. I do not think there is much time left for America. I can feel the judgment like it was just prior to 9/11 and in September 2008 before the stock market crash. The judgment is in the “air.” Only intercession by the church can stop it.

May the Holy God of Israel bless and protect you.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Kerry returning to Jerusalem and Ramallah to push for renewal of peace talks 04/03/13 The pressuring is now building from America to divide the land of Israel and Jerusalem. The Holy God of Israel is having none of this as it is clear that North Korea is now a “rod of judgment” on America. It appears that the day of reckoning is fast approaching for America. God has warned but His people have lost the fear of Him.

“Kerry’s plan would see a three-month preparatory period of talks between the sides, after which he would present his proposal for the resumption of direct talks. Until then, he is keen for Israel and the PA to commit to further confidence-building measures: on the Israeli side, restricting settlement construction and freeing prisoners, and on the Palestinian side, undertaking not to carry out any more unilateral approaches to the UN or associated bodies. Kerry also wants Arab states to contribute toward the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian talks: Later this month, a delegation of foreign ministers from Qatar, Jordan and Egypt are due to discuss the administration’s policy on the peace process.”

N. Korea approves nuclear strike on United States 04/03/13 This is the day that Kerry said he was going to Israel to divide the land! My heart is so heavy for America.

“North Korea dramatically escalated its warlike rhetoric on Thursday, warning that it had authorised plans for nuclear strikes on targets in the United States. “The moment of explosion is approaching fast,” the North Korean military said, warning that war could break out “today or tomorrow”.

John Kerry Heads Back to Mideast in Push for Peace 04/03/13 He is heading to Israel to promote dividing the land at the very same time that North Korea threatens of nuclear war on American soil! Please face reality on this. This could be awesome judgment on America as the threat of war erupted during the Supreme Court hearing of “homosexual marriage!” How much clearer can the warning of judgment be. It is there for the entire nation to see on ALL the media outlets together!

“Hopes for quick progress still seem bleak. Israel’s new government, with a large hardliner contingent, has shown no sign of giving ground to the Palestinians on sensitive issues such as Jewish settlements in contested lands, future borders or the question of Jerusalem — which both sides claim for a capital. Power among the Palestinians, meanwhile, is split between those who demand tough Israeli concessions before talks can occur and those who simply reject the notion of negotiations.”

North Korea threats: US to move missile defenses to Guam 04/03/13 If God is not protecting America, no advanced missile defense can stop a nuclear missile fired towards America. America is spitting in God’s face nearly every day and the church is nowhere to be seen in this. The combination of homosexual marriage and now touching Israel just may be the final “straw” with the Holy God of Israel.

“The US Department of Defense said on Wednesday it would deploy the ballistic Terminal High Altitude Area Defense System (Thaad) in the coming weeks. The Thaad system includes a truck-mounted launcher, interceptor missiles, and AN/TPY-2 tracking radar, together with an integrated fire control system. The Pentagon said the missile system would be moved to Guam, a US territory with a significant US military presence, as a “precautionary move to strengthen our regional defence posture against the North Korean regional ballistic missile threat”.

Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Acts 19…Twelve Disciples of John the Baptist

Acts 19

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Twelve Disciples of John the Baptist

19 While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior regions and came to Ephesus. He found some disciples2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”

“No,” they told him, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

3 “Then what baptism were you baptized with?” he asked them.

“With John’s baptism,” they replied.

4 Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people that they should believe in the One who would come after him, that is, in Jesus.”

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began to speak in other languages and to prophesy. 7 Now there were about 12 men in all.

In the Lecture Hall of Tyrannus

8 Then he entered the synagogue and spoke boldly over a period of three months, engaging in discussion and trying to persuade them about the things of the kingdom of God. 9 But when some became hardened and would not believe, slandering the Way in front of the crowd, he withdrew from them and met separately with the disciples, conducting discussions every day in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. 10 And this went on for two years, so that all the inhabitants of Asia, both Jews and Greeks, heard the message about the Lord.

Demonism Defeated at Ephesus

11 God was performing extraordinary miracles by Paul’s hands, 12 so that even facecloths or work aprons[a] that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits came out of them.

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists attempted to pronounce the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I command you by the Jesus that Paul preaches!” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 The evil spirit answered them, “I know Jesus, and I recognize Paul—but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them all, and prevailed against them, so that they ran out of that house naked and wounded. 17 This became known to everyone who lived in Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. Then fear fell on all of them, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. 18 And many who had become believers came confessing and disclosing their practices, 19 while many of those who had practiced magic collected their books and burned them in front of everyone. So they calculated their value and found it to be 50,000 pieces of silver. 20 In this way the Lord’s message flourished and prevailed.

The Riot in Ephesus

21 When these events were over, Paul resolved in the Spirit to pass through Macedonia and Achaia and go to Jerusalem. “After I’ve been there,” he said, “I must see Rome as well!” 22 So after sending two of those who assisted him, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, he himself stayed in Asia for a while.

23 During that time there was a major[b] disturbance about the Way. 24 For a person named Demetrius, a silversmith who made silver shrines of Artemis,[c] provided a great deal of[d] business for the craftsmen. 25 When he had assembled them, as well as the workers engaged in this type of business, he said: “Men, you know that our prosperity is derived from this business. 26 You both see and hear that not only in Ephesus, but in almost all of Asia, this man Paul has persuaded and misled a considerable number of people by saying that gods made by hand are not gods! 27 So not only do we run a risk that our business may be discredited, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis may be despised and her magnificence come to the verge of ruin—the very one all of Asia and the world adore.”

28 When they had heard this, they were filled with rage and began to cry out, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” 29 So the city was filled with confusion, and they rushed all together into the amphitheater, dragging along Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians who were Paul’s traveling companions. 30 Though Paul wanted to go in before the people, the disciples did not let him. 31 Even some of the provincial officials of Asia, who were his friends, sent word to him, pleading with him not to take a chance by going[e] into the amphitheater. 32 Meanwhile, some were shouting one thing and some another, because the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had come together. 33 Then some of the crowd gave Alexander advice when the Jews pushed him to the front. So motioning with his hand, Alexander wanted to make his defense to the people. 34 But when they recognized that he was a Jew, a united cry went up from all of them for about two hours: “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”

35 However, when the city clerk had calmed the crowd down, he said, “Men of Ephesus! What man is there who doesn’t know that the city of the Ephesians is the temple guardian of the great[f] Artemis, and of the image that fell from heaven? 36 Therefore, since these things are undeniable, you must keep calm and not do anything rash. 37 For you have brought these men here who are not temple robbers or blasphemers of our[g] goddess. 38 So if Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a case against anyone, the courts are in session, and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another. 39 But if you want something else, it must be decided in a legal assembly. 40 In fact, we run a risk of being charged with rioting for what happened today, since there is no justification that we can give as a reason for this disorderly gathering.” 41 After saying this, he dismissed the assembly.
