President Obama made over 600,000.00 dollars last yet, yet he wants to cap YOUR retirement so you don’t save more than what is “needed”!!! Who is to say what is more than is “needed” for you and your family?? What happened to the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Do we not have the right to decide what is “right” for us? No longer is this an option, according to our president whose job it is to PROTECT our right to prosper and thrive as people in a free nation!
Does the Statue of Liberty not say “Give me your tired, your POOR, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free, the wretched, refuse of your teeming shore, send these, the homeless, tempest tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” ?
Read on and see if this is the type of representation YOU AND I are getting from our current government leaders!

President Obama wants to make sure that people don’t save “more than is needed,” and his budget proposal includes steps that would limit the amount of money individuals can have in their retirement accounts.
Obama’s budget plan, to be unveiled April 10, would prohibit taxpayers from accumulating more than $3 million in an individual retirement account. That proposal would generate $9 billion in revenue for the Treasury over the next decade, according to a White House statement released today.
“Under current rules, some wealthy individuals are able to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving,” the statement said.
My first thought when I read this headline was to shudder at how eerily similar the proposal sounds to the institutionalized theft that just happened in Cyprus where bank accounts over $130,000 had 40% their deposits simply confiscated. Only two weeks ago, I warned that this would find its way here eventually. I didn’t expect it to be so soon.
This is thinly veiled Marxism sold as “revenue generation,” and anyone who opposes the measure will be accused of not wanting a “balanced approach” to reduce the deficit.
Naturally, the rule wouldn’t apply to President Obama himself, whose retirement will be funded by the taxpayer and include tens of millions of dollars in benefits. Regardless, Obama thinks he’s qualified to decide how much is “too much” for the rest of the country.
This is Kenneth Hagin, Sr.. He has passed away and his son now carries on the mighty ministry the Lord had him begin. They have the Rhema Church and RHEMA BIBLE TRAINING CENTER in Broken Arrow, OK. I respect this wonderful man to this day! How anyone could have anything against his teachings that were so full of revelation, spirit and life are beyond me! For the next few days, I will be writing on what I have learned from Rev. Hagin, Sr. throughout the years. Lately, the Lord has taken me back to his study course on prayer. This is a very deep subject and a very important one since what we receive from God is through prayer.
There are many types of prayer. The prayer of petition, the prayer of faith, the prayer of praise and worship among many. The prayer of praise and worship is the one I want to cover over the next few days. I will be referring to the home study course I took years ago. For more detailed accounts you may order it from RHEMA BIBLE INSTITUTE and the name of it is Bible Prayer Study Course.
Acts 13:1-4 reads like this from the HOLMAN STUDY BIBLE:
13 In the church that was at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen, a close friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
2 As they were ministering to[a] the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work I have called them to.” 3 Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.
4 Being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they came down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.
Look closely at verse 2 that says, “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted.” Many times the only type of prayer people are familiar with is the prayer of petition, or the prayer to ask for something, or for something to be changed. This is also called the prayer of faith. This prayer is totally scriptural and it is how to see our needs be met. But, in our scripture they were not asking God to do anything! They ministered to the Lord and fasted. To minister to the Lord is the prayer of praise and worship!
When we go to church, we usually minister to one another. When we pray, more times than not we are asking God for something. Then we ask the Lord to move in our service and to manifest Himself among us. Then when the minister or speaker speaks he/she isn’t ministering to the Lord either. They are ministering to the congregation.
As you see, many times we come to church, not to minister to the Lord, but to pray on our own behalf and then we pray for the needs of others. Often people come forward for prayer. They want something from God, but they are not always sure what they need. We should ask them what they are praying for. We need to know how to agree in prayer, which is the prayer of agreement.
Many times, I’ve seen people go to the altar, others gather around them and just start praying. You can have the minister come to pray for them and they will tell the minister they don’t know why they are there. They don’t know what they are praying for. How does anyone else know what to pray if they don’t even know what their need is? We need to know if they have come for salvation, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, or to receive another type of blessing. At that point, you can pray the word over them and they will be built up in faith!
I had a wonderful pastor say one time, “You MUST teach the people before they can receive anything in prayer. If they want to be healed, you must show them it is Biblical and what God says about it. If you don’t, their faith will not be built in that area and they won’t be able to receive! This goes for ANY AND ALL needs and desires! If you can prove it Biblically then they can receive anything and everything God wants them to have.” But, yet again, this is the prayer of petition! When and how do we pray the prayer of praise and worship? When do we minister just to the Lord?
There is a time and a way to do this! I am so excited to share this with you tomorrow! Come back and I assure you, you will be blessed with a higher degree of praise and a higher level of prayer as we discuss this important subject! Blessings to you, dear reader!! I will see you soon!
