Recently, I have had two friends diagnosed with cancer…both are younger than fifty-five. I just had blood work done that came back with some results I am not pleased with. I want to see an excellent report on my follow up blood work by the time I see my doctor again. I ask you to agree with me in prayer for my dear friends and for me, precious reader! God‘s will is healing, health and wholeness!
PRAYER FOR HEALING/GLORIA COPELAND
This is what Jesus said about prayer, “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain,’Be thou removed, be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he saith.’ Therefore, I say unto you,” this is Jesus speaking “Therefore, I say unto you, what things so ever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.” That’s in your Bible, Mark 11:22, 23 and 24. Jesus said to believe that you receive when you pray, and you will have it. Now I am going to pray for you. Now faith take takes the answer when it prays. As I pray, you take your answer, and you begin to do what you couldn’t do before. If you couldn’t lift your arm up, throw it up there! If you couldn’t get up, get up! Act on the Word of God. Why? Because you’ve received your healing. Father, I pray for every person. I pray the healing anointing to come upon them right now in the name of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, you be healed from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. You just right now say, “I take my healing. I take it, Lord. I take it.” And, then do something you couldn’t do before. If you couldn’t throw up your hand, throw it up there. If you couldn’t move a leg, begin to move in Jesus’ name. What are you doing? You are taking your healing. You take it. Faith takes! Glory to God! And, this is one of the key places when Jesus teaches us about how to receive anything from the Lord. If you need help in your finances. Take prosperity. Believe you receive it, and act on it. If you need a job, take a job right now as we pray. Glory to God. We’re here for you. We’ve have all kinds of information, teachings on the website, articles, prayers, devotionals, things to help you grow in the Lord. Ken and I are intensely interested in you. And, we know that Jesus is intensely interested in you and wants you healed and prosperous and well. This is Gloria Copeland reminding you that Jesus is Lord! –Gloria Copeland
Amplified Bible (AMP)
23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and [g]let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
26 [h]But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
I have heard this scripture all of my life…well, most of it. I have not always heard verse 26. The problem with that is if you don’t do the last scripture then verses 22-25 will NOT work in your life. Faith is what is casting the mountain into the sea! The Bible tells us faith works by LOVE.
Love forgives and dismisses the need to see someone punished for what they have done! Love does not keep account of any wrong done to it, but there are “Christians” sitting in churches all over the world who carry grudges, hate people, can’t wait to see them tarred and feathered, BUT YET you let a job opportunity or something they want come up, they will quote the first of these scriptures, call people to “agree” with them in prayer, yet they have animosity for others in their hearts!
Will that prayer be answered for those people? It is highly unlikely! Then they want to blame God and others for their lack!! You cannot take part of the word and throw the rest of it away! With God supernatural laws are built into the word of God. You MUST have ALL elements in place for the Word to work mightily for you!
If you do not tithe and give, you won’t be supernaturally blessed in your bank account! If you ignore God’s laws and harm your body, you WILL one day see sickness pertaining to your disobedience. But let us turn this around! If I do tithe and give, and FORGIVE those who wrong me, I will see abundance. If I do release all bitterness and wrath and take care of my body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit, I will live a long and healthy life!
The Bible says if I don’t put away negative emotions and act on faith in LOVE, my faith will not act for me! It would be like me getting into my car and telling my car to go without putting in the key that starts all the mechanics that makes my car run. I am going nowhere!
If you are broke, tired, sick, disgusted ask yourself if you are carrying a grudge or if you are holding onto something that should have been let go of. It is worth it to turn it loose!
Blessings, precious reader! I will see you soon!!
All of these things come to us by faith. But it must be faith that works by love. (Gal. 5:6)
The most important thing you must learn in life is Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to heaven! The second most important thing is how to get faith to work for you in life! Everything you receive from God, every blessing, healing, prosperity in finances, protection, promotion, all your needs in general, comes by God to you THROUGH faith. What is bad is when you can’t receive because you don’t have faith actively working in your life to the highest degree.
Faith works by love, just as a car works by an engine. Physical laws came from spiritual laws. If you want to fly, you must enforce the “law of lift and thrust”. If you don’t, the law of gravity is going to have you crashing! It is the same with spiritual laws. When we put those laws in place, we get a result every time! For instance, the law of seed, time, and harvest is going to produce a crop of something in your life depending on what you have planted. Seed, time, and harvest is where you plant something through either negative words or positive words. If your mouth is always complaining then you are always going to get more to complain about. You are harvesting negativity. If you are speaking words of praise and faith, you are going to get more to praise about! You are producing what the word has promised. BUT!! If you are not walking in love toward people, you have poured sawdust in your oil! No matter how many scriptures you confess, if you aren’t practicing love toward all, you are going through a motion!
If you know anything about mechanics, sawdust mixed with oil, increases the viscosity, which then buffers most of the
noise from worn bearings! It won’t be long until your engine will sputter and you will be calling for a tow truck or you will be walking! It is an old trick people use to sell a clunker of a car!! The same thing is what happens when we mix criticism, anger, unforgiveness, and bitterness with faith. It just does not work!
We all know out of the abundance of the heart (mind) the mouth speaks. You cannot think negative thoughts toward people and then walk in God’s love toward them. If you do allow your thoughts to head in negative directions, you will be a negative person wondering why everyone else around you is blessed and all you seem to have is trouble. Check your thoughts!
There is a lady who is immature in her walk with the Lord. I have not always been as patient as I should be with her. Her mouth is not renewed with the word of God because she is a baby Christian. Just like babies need patience when you teach them new skills and ideas, baby Christians need this, too. I had begun to notice she was ALWAYS complaining. She would say things like ”I don’t have this, I don’t have that, if anything can go wrong, it is going to go wrong with me! Why me, why me, why me???” I noticed the more she talks this negativity the more really DOES happen to her. What is she doing? She is cursing herself with her own words! The more she talks, the more she plants, and the more she plants, the more she harvest! She is getting exactly what she is thinking because she is voicing her thoughts! Oddly, she is a very angry woman and you can set her off and offend her easily. Why? Because a cycle of negativity has been set in place giving place to anger, which is negating her love walk where her faith cannot work! She is her worst enemy, and can’t we all be?
You cannot love people if you think badly of them! If you think critically of others, it will effect your love walk and your faith will literally shut down the blessings, as well as what you have been asking God for. It isn’t that God is withholding it from you. God said He gives ALL good things LIBERALLY! Are you seeing results in prayer? If not, check your attitude toward others. You will most likely find a root, just like I did!! Thank God we find it so we can uproot it and learn from it! When that happens, look out, we are about to be abundantly blessed and so will others because without the stinking thinking, WE won’t be stinkers anymore!
Blessings to you, precious reader! Go with God, as He surely goes with you!!
Do you have hope for your future? Or do you generally expect negative or disappointing things to happen?
I was taught to be negative when I was growing up. I lived in an abusive atmosphere with negative people, alcoholism, fear, ranting and raving… As a result, I developed an attitude that it was better to expect nothing good than to expect it and be disappointed when it didn’t happen.
I often wondered, What’s going to go wrong next?
It wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized I was living with evil forebodings, which created a vague feeling around me all the time that something bad was going to happen.
Then one day, God spoke to my heart about this. He showed me that I was dreading that something bad was going to happen, but He wanted me to expect good things to happen. Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP) tells us that God’s thoughts and plans for us are “for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”
God wanted me to say, “Something good is going to happen!”
The truth is, God doesn’t work in us through negative attitudes full of self-pity, laziness, passivity or an “everybody owes me” perspective. God works through faith! But before we can have faith, we have to have hope.
Hope is favorable and confident expectation; it’s an expectant attitude that something good is going to happen and things will work out, no matter what situation we’re facing.
I like the phrase “prisoners of hope.” Think about it… If you’re a prisoner, you have no choice about it – you can’t be negative. And when times are tough or you’re dealing with disappointment, hope will cause you to rise up in faith and say, “God, I praise You and I believe You’re working on this situation and working in me. My faith, trust and hope are in You!”
Hope is determined and doesn’t give up. God wants us to be locked up in hope, trusting that He can change what needs to be changed, that we can do what He wants us to do, and that all things are possible with God. If we will be steadfast in our hope, we can’t lose – we have to be winners in life.
When God called me to ministry, it didn’t happen overnight. There were many years of preparation and building up what is now a worldwide ministry. During those years, I wanted to quit many times. But my testimony is, I’m still here! And if you won’t give up, you’ll have victory too.
Human nature is impatient, selfish and wants things quickly. Why is it that although it takes us years to get into our messes, we expect God to get us out of them in a few days?
In John 16:33, Jesus tells us that we are going to have tribulation, trials, distress and frustration in this world, but in spite of that, we can be of good cheer and take heart. Why? Because He has overcome the world. And when we live in Him, we become overcomers too!
That’s why Jesus died for us. He came to save us from sin and death and to give us abundant life – now. And I’m determined to have everything Jesus died to give me.
Make a decision to have everything Jesus died to give you. You have to do it on purpose. Be determined to do what God wants you to do and refuse to live with negative expectations. Ask God to help you live in hope and declare by faith, “Something good is going to happen to me!”
